Opening and closing the roof at a driving speed over 10km/h has the
consequence that you or others are distracted from the traffic by the
movement procedure of the roof and therefor you endanger yourself and
other road users. Therefore pay attention to the appropriate operation
of the electro-hydraulical roof.
Closing an opening the roof at a driving speed of over 10km/h has the
consequence that the entire roof structure carries more weight / load
because of the stronger wind current. That applies also to the electro-hydraulical
control system. Thereby the roof structure is subject to an increased
wear and tear. Furthermore this extra weight / load can also lead to
the damage of the roof and vehicle construction. Therefore before using
the roof-switch consider carefully whether the respective situation allows
opening and/or closing the roof.
Factors such as driving bends, uneven roads, braking or acceleration
procedures and wind additionally affect the roof. The simultaneous effect
of several of these factors continues to increase the weight / load on
the roof. If you drive e.g. 30km/h, but additionally there is a 80km/h
head wind and then you try to open the roof, the 110km/h head wind will
take off the roof and will tear it off from the vehicle. Flying parts
of the roof will injure you and/or other road users and will cause substantial
damage to property and person. Note that you consider before using the
roof switch, whether the respective situation allows opening and/or closing
of the roof.
Carelessness in traffic can lead to serious accidents. An operation
of the roof switch in traffic may take place only, if traffic conditions
permit this and you will not be distracted from the traffic while operating
the roof switch. Therefore you should not operate the remote control
in traffic.
Changes on the vehicle, which are necessary by the installation of the
Speed30 module and further components, must always be implemented
in such a way that no impairment of the road safety or the constructional
stability of the car will result from it.
The installation and the use of the Speed30 / Speed RRE30 module can
lead to an offence of the motor vehicles regulations and/or road traffic
regulations. The respective national regulations are to be considered.
The installation and the use of the Speed30 module can lead
to a loss the vehicle warranty and/or vehicle guarantee and a loss of
the car insurance in case of an accident.
The Speed 30 module must be installed in such a way, that
under no circumstances (e.g. sharp braking, traffic accident) the RRE
module is not able to detach itself and cause injuries to passengers. |
