What ist Remote Roof Easy (RRE)?

With a 4-channel remote control you can open the already unlocked roof and the windows within a range of 20 meters. The roof will only open or close as long as the button of the remote control is pushed, this means that the security measures remain functional. The modul will be installed unvisible in the trunk of the 206 CC. The Remote Roof Easy (RRE) can be installed in all 206 CC models.

Functions

Pushbutton 1: Opens all windows and opens the roof as long as the button is pressed Pushbutton 2: Closes the roof as long as the button is pressed Pushbutton 3: Closes all windows - as long as the button is pressed Pushbutton 4: Own option to turn on / off something (e.g. lights) A switch under the rear bench to turn on / off the RRE function

How will the module be installed?

The module will be placed in the trunk under the cover near the roof controller. The RRE module needs a grounding and a 12V power source. In the trunk two power cables have to be cut and an additional wiring harness needs to be inserted. Installation time: approx.1h. It is possible to combine a RRE module with other modules: Speed20, Speed30, RSL, RSL20, RSL30

Safety tips and further information

Use the remote control only within sight of your car. Basic knowledge of electronic installation and the usage of an AMP crimp tool are necessary. The usage of the RRE can cause the loss of the car warranty and the operating permit. The usage can conflict with state or government laws concerning the operation of a vehicle. The usage is strictly at your own risk ! There is no liability for person / material damages !

There could by a small chance that an other external remote control can be use the same rollcode to act as your own remote control and implements remote controlled functions at your vehicle. The installation and the usage of the RRE Module can lead to an offence of the motor vehicles regulations and/or road traffic regulations. The respective national regulations are to be considered. The installation and the use of the RRE Module can lead to a loss of vehicle warranty and/or vehicle guarantee and a loss of the car insurance in case of an accident. Opening and closing the roof, as well the controlling of the window lifters with a radio remote control, can be disturbed by radio signal transmission (e.g. by jammer, transmission masts, other radio remote controls, etc..). The disturbance of the radio transmission can lead to malfunctionings in the functions activated by the remote control. These malfunctionings can lead to personal injuries. Operate the remote control only in sight of your car and take into consideration that sometimes the selected function does not stop immediately by pushing a button.
