What is a RSL30 module ?

Are you going bananas when you have to keep pushing or pulling the roof switch all the time to open or close the roof? With the RSL (Roof Switch Lock) you will handle the roof on a fingertip. No annoyance of holding the the roof switch. The second hand remains free. Processor-controlled monitoring of the roof movement ensures reliable function independently of external influences. The module can be used with all 206CC models. Coming out of the production plant the opening and closing of the hard-top of the 206 CC is only possible while driving not faster than 10 km/h (7 mph). But sometimes it would be more practical to open or close the hard-top up to a speed of 30 km/h. Now with the RSL module you have the control to open or close your hard-top up to the limit of 30 km/h. RSL can be installed in all 206 CC models

How will the module be installed?

The modul will be placed in the trunk under the cover near the roof control. No cables have to be cut. The RSL30 module needs no further cables to be connected. To install the module takes approximately 15 min and can be done very easily. You don’t need special tools. It is possible to combine the RSL30 module with other modules: RRE

Safety tips and further information

While the roof is moving always remain within range of the roof switch. Danger of injury! The usage of the RSL30 module can cause the loss of your car warranty and the operating permit and can conflict with state or government laws concerning the operation of a vehicle. Don‘t open or close the roof and leave the vehicle. Carelessness in traffic can lead to serious accidents. An operation of the roof switch in traffic may take place only, if traffic conditions permit this and you will not be distracted from the traffic while operating the roof switch. Therefore you should not operate the remote control in traffic. Changes on the vehicle, which are necessary by the installation of the RSL30 module and further components, must always be implemented in such a way that no impairment of the road safety or the constructional stability of the car will result from it. The installation and the usage of the RSL30 module can lead to an offence of the motor vehicles regulations and/or road traffic regulations. The respective national regulations are to be considered. The RSL module must be installed in such a way, that under no circumstances (e.g. sharp braking, traffic accident) the RSL30 module is not able to detach itself and cause injuries to passengers. The installation and the usage of the RSL30 module take place at own risk.
