What is a XRSL module ?

Are you going bananas when you have to keep pushing or pulling the roof switch all the time to open or close the roof ? With the XRSL (eXtended Roof Switch Lock) you will handle the roof on a fingertip. No annoyance of holding the roof switch. With the XRSL module you have the control to open or close your hard-top up to the limit of 30 km/h. Additional comfort features are embedded in XRSL (see below). XRSL can be installed with all 206 CC models.

Characteristics :

Automatic hold function for the roof switch. Open / close roof up to a speed of 30 km/h (configurable). Stop or invert the moving direction any time by renewed touch of the the roof switch. Accurate control by processor-controlled monitoring the micro switches whether in summer or winter. Easy deactivation and activation of the XRSL-functions (e.g. for visiting a dealer) . Automatic window lowering when unlocking the roof (configurable). New function for closing the roof : Short button push = close roof, long button push = close roof & rise windows (even, if the roof is not locked). Completing the automatic windows function for the right and for the back windows (configurable). Not visible after installation, deinstallation without any remainders, 2 years warranty on the module.

How will the modul be installed ?

The modul will be placed in the trunk under the cover near the roof control. No cables have to be cut. The XRSL module needs no further cables to be connected. To install it will takes approximately 15 min and can be done very easily. You don’t need any special tools. It is possible to combine a XRSL module with a RRE module.
